 | The overall objective of the forum was to discuss the synergy between various International Waters initiatives in the WIO region, including their relation to regional policies and strategies such as represented by the New Partnership for Africa’s Development (NEPAD) and the Nairobi Convention, and in particular the role of national, regional and international stakeholders in the implementation of such initiatives. |
