TOR: Project Management Unit

The PMU will be responsible for managing daily activities of the project. The GPA will provide guidance to the PMU in the implementation of the activities that are co-financed by Norway. UNEP/GEF will provide oversight to the implementation of activities as listed in the GEF Project Document.
The PMU will report to the Executing and Implementing Agencies and will be responsible for the implementation of activities as defined in the project document, which are based on priorities identified under the Nairobi Convention, and will be working under the framework of GEF and GPA operations of UNEP. The PMU will be physically located at the offices of the Nairobi Convention within the Regional Office for Africa.
